Onitsura's Cherry Flowers

Inspired by Onitsura and Blyth's comment I've come up with:
cherry's lost petals
saying their last pray to God
returning to ground
through falling petals
playful gusts of April wind -
open eyes see more
light urging me in -
leading to the House of Lord,
pink petals carpet

March 24th prompt - moisture
legs slipping on mud -
moisture from storm scented air
surprising my lungs
A lovely set, thank you for sharing with us :)

ReplyDeleteWonderful haiku.. and the petals returning to soil is a beutiful image.
ReplyDeleteLovely images of the blossoms returning to the ground to nourish the soil beneath the tree, so it can bloom again!
ReplyDeleteLovely. I really got the sense of moisture/damp in the last haiku.
