The "Overcoming Adversity" Bloghop

Haiku Moments Towards Happiness

Spotlight on green leaves
On immortal scene of time –
Theatre of life.

Plenty of snowflakes
To build a snowmen army –
Nice dream of a child.

The darkness around –
Men stop in front of the gate,
Searching for last spring.

Confession to night –
I’m captive in spheres of life
But free to change them.

The bright show of night
On a nightingale’s soft song –
My seventh heaven

On stairs at midnight
The fairy tale is ending.
Happiness  comes soon.

  3. This was beautiful. I especially loved the verses:

"I’m captive in spheres of life
    But free to change them."

    They hold such hope!

    1. That's what I was going for: from small to big, from lost to found, from sad to happy and hope. It seems I've accomplished my goal: I've successfully rendered my message to at least a reader ;) (right now I'm dancing)

Let's hope my flash Fiction from later will be good enough. I haven't finished a single piece of prose in years, though I've started a lot. But when reading the motivation of the bloghop it just came to me and I wannted in.

    1. Either this was my lucky day or I'm on the right track because today I've received a lot of compliments from published writers and experienced bloggers.

I should be thanking you because I've found the bloghop on your blog. And because I really wanted to enter this bloghop, I've completed a piece of flash fiction, thing that was on my "To Do" list for this week.

    1. Thank you so much! Poetry is my first love, I've been writnig it for more than 10 years and I've recently stopped at haiku. Let's see how that goes. Still have to work more on it. And get used again with writing prose.

      Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Those are my favorites too. Those and captivity in spheres of life.
Your praise is very flattering since I'm not a native English writer.

  7. This was a beautiful poem with some haunting imagery. I too loved the "captive in spheres of life" line. Thank you for taking part! And you're going above and beyond to compose two pieces - I can't wait to read your flash fiction! :)

    1. Thanks for the opportunity, Nick.

I wanted in to your bloghop because I knew it would motivate me to finish something I'd start - my major problem in writing.

So I couldn't disappoint you after entering: win - win situation: I finished a piece of fiction and I get to help, as promissed.

  8. Everybody just feel free to point writing and formatting mistakes because the Romanian rules of formatting are different and I don't know if I've got them all right from my first try.

Nick, if you decide it's good enough to use, feel free to edit it to make it better.
I'll start comlpaining about this king of minor things like my lack of skills in formatting only when I'll be No. 1 Published auther, so don'y worry for the next month or so...
    :))) ;)
