Six Word Saturday

Enjoying my coffee under August sun

I'm one of those persons who can't start the day without coffee - it's more than a ritual, it's my first great moment of the day.

And since today I'm not working on my usual stuff, but to the outline that I started yesterday (3.5 K in one day - yay!) though I was planning to take a break this weekend, I'll need at least a double dose of coffee to finish what I started. I think it will go around 8-9 K. I'm exited about it - it has vampires, action and shy love and big mouths - I was smiling the entire time I was writing (I think that's a good sign).

I've figured the world, the characters, (still thinking about the setting), the timeline (one of my least favorite things) and I've also figured out why I can't finish what I start - that damn voice. All these were brewing inside my mind during the last week or so, and now I caved in and put everything on paper (yeah, paper and pen for outlining). So this new thing is an experiment till now, but works better than what I usually do, so I have high hopes (not that you couldn't tell by all this babbling).

And though I'm not usually sharing what I'm working on, since I'm so so crazy happy with this, I'll share a two line exchange  between the main characters.

"I wish you'd do what I asked you to."
"Well, it's not the magical time of Christmas when wishes come true. And I'm not a genie. I don't do wishes."

Celebrate The Small Things

This was a busy and productive week for me, so I have reasons to celebrate, entering this hop. So, today I'm celebrating:

* * * writing from the beginning till end of 2 outlines: one of a short story (around 7-10  K) and one of anovella (around 25 K)

* * * starting a project I thought about for a long time and kept putting off. Now I'm already 10% done which is surprisingly fast. Let's hope it will keep progressing just as fast.

* * * my return to the social media.

* * * the return of something that resembles (vaguely) with calm and normalcy.

As for today, I intend to go through all my social profiles and update them. Starting with the blog.

Have a fun weekend!

Enjoying this holiday

I'm having a lot of good time during this short but relaxing holiday. If everything goes as planned, in a week I'm going to have more than 10.000 words written as an outline for my first attempt to write long fiction. Oh, the lack of internet... it makes me efficient.

I'm also taking care of my first love, the poetry.
It's true what they say, that you have to read a lot in order to write better.
During the last two weeks I've written down my best poems ever (subjective opinion + praise from those who read my new poetry).

The new thing is that I'm now considering at least one of the publishing offers. Let's hope that after Easter I'll keep writing. I hope that by the mid May I'll have something else to celebrate, besides my inspiration, genetated by the lack of the wonder of internet.

I hope you'll have a nice time!
