The Bloghop of Joy
We
all have busy lives and it's easy to forget sometimes to say "thanks" to
those who help and inspire us. It's even easier to forget, to overlook
the small things that make us smile and keep us going. So, we should
share what makes us happy, makes us go on and put a
smile on our faces.
So, here's my list:
1. My time with my family. We see the entire family in one place quite rarely these days, so these moments are joyful, recharging and simply beautiful.
2. The moment I've achieved one of my goals! That feeling of "I am the sky and nothing can touch me" that lasts little but feels good.
3. That moment I help someone and receive a sincere "thank you" or/and the moments I receive unexpected help.
4. When I'm blocked and sudden inspiration strikes.
Sometimes I get so excited that I almost forget why I'm happy. Did you
ever let slip a brilliant idea because of extreme happiness caused by
that same idea?
5. My daily doses of coffee and tea
- don't laugh, I'm addicted of these little treats and no one's to
interfere between me and my coffee and tea! Plus, others can't afford
coffee for health or economical reasons.
6. I'm quite childish sometimes and feel joy in surprising others.
For instance, last week I've sent a mail to my sisters with pictures
with us from years ago and a song we all loved! I felt joy when the idea
came to me and when they called me laughing!
7. And childish is nothing compared to immature! I love pranks! Those played on others,
of course. These innocent jokes make me smile every time! The Reverse:
I've been telling my friends and folks so many white lies and I've
played pranks on them so many times that sometimes, when I find myself
in need and reach to them for help or advice, they think I'm joking. I'm
like the boy who cries "wolf" too many times, they say. But I'm not a BOY!
8. I feel joy at every comment, like, new friend or follower that stops by and leaves an opinion, good or bad. (this was a masked invitation to comment the article, just to be clear!)
8. I feel joy at every piece of good news I receive.
9. In the spirit of Russel Howard, the one who inspired the bloghop: I'm joyful when I'm offered the last piece of cake or chocolate(Another addiction). Isn't that just addorable when someone else gives you that last piece of heaven you secretely hoped for?
10. Did you notice that I have 2 number 8 on my list so this should be no 11? :)
Back from the Future
Here's the premise:
You’re up before dawn on a Saturday when the doorbell rings. You
haven’t brewed your coffee so you wonder if you
imagined the sound. Plonking the half-filled carafe in the sink, you go
to the front door and cautiously swing it open. No one there. As you
cast your eyes to the ground, you see a parcel addressed to you
… from you.
You scoop it up and haul it inside, sensing something legitimate
despite the extreme oddness of the situation. Carefully, you pry it
open. Inside is a shoebox — sent from ten years in the future – and it’s
filled with items you have sent yourself.
What’s in it?
Let's see:
1. A picture of myself from the future
- proof that I'm the one who sent the box and a motivational item to
take better care of myself (I know, coquette much? the answer is "yes")
2. A brilliant phone that's indestructible and strong shocks (like myself, for instance) proofed. What can I say? I love technology, but it hates me.
3. A set of letters to myself,
each to be read after major moments in my life. These would have
congrats, pieces of advice, explanations and thoughs about how should I
react in those circumstances.
4. An e-reader with all the series I love right now
and aren't finished yet (I love reading and especially series; the
disadvantage is that I have to wait for the new books, you all know how
that's like).
That
would be it! I wouldn't like to change my life too much. These would be
a treat and quite helpful, but not extremely life changing facts, I
think.
